In the film The Rhythm Section, Lively’s look made a drastic change. She said goodbye to her normal long blonde hair and donned a dark and short pageboy-style wig for the thriller. The plan was to layer multiple reddish tones in a way that would allow the new color to fade out within a few weeks; periodic touch-ups are keeping it fresh for filming.

In the close-up shot, Lively's hair was styled into loose Old Hollywood waves reminiscent of the looks she frequently wore in 2015.
